Participation of external students

There is a possibility for external doctoral students to participate in one of the four doctoral courses offered by ZEF. You can do this with your own funds. We offer four course modules every year:

(1) Interdisciplinary Course in October - November,
(2) Course on Political and Cultural Change in December and January (ZEFa),
(3) Course on Development Policy Analysis and Development Economics in December through February (ZEFb), and
(4) Course on Ecology and Natural Resource Management in February - March (ZEFc).

For application, you have to submit a letter of application, certified registration as a Ph.D. student at a university, a letter of recommendation from your supervisor, CV, copies of certificates and ZEF application form. You may submit such an application at any time, but at least two months before the course starts.
