III.1  Globalisation, resource management and social deprivation.

III.2 Social and political organisation of resources users for alternative development.

Research under III.1 focuses on how the broader process of globalisation ‘works out’ in concrete resource management situations, and what it does to access and entitlements, social security, equity and poverty of different categories of people.

Research under III.2 looks at how resource users respond to such and other developments and socially and politically organise to advocate or implement alternative development trajectories.
