II.2 Multi-stakeholder processes in natural resources planning and management: participation and democratic governance.

Research under II.1 undertaken from a ‘politics of policy’ or ‘policy as process’ perspective, looking at the dynamics of policy processes at different levels and at its different dimensions.

Sub-theme II.2 looks at efforts at constituting more ‘inclusive’ frameworks for planning and policymaking & implementation for NRM. What forms does this take, what are the dynamics and what would be viable strategies or approaches to strengthen such initiatives, are guiding questions.
