Talk in German by Jochen Dürr, NutriHAF Project, ZEF.

Background: Ethiopia is home of the coffee tree. Yet, in the country's coffee regions, many people are malnourished. A ZEF-based research team found that vegetable consumption in the project region was inadequate. Together with local experts and farmers they tried to cultivate nutritious and shadow-tolerant plants in the coffee forests and… to persuade consumers to eat these plants, which are often considered weeds. Learn more about the interdisciplinary NutriHAF research project in this talk.
