ZEF alumnus Aziz A. Karimov takes on new position at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

Congratulations to ZEF alumnus Aziz A. Karimov who joined the Ukraine team of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Kyiv as the head of the Assessment and Analysis Unit in June 2024.

Aziz started as a doctoral student at ZEF in 2007 and successfully defended his thesis on “Economic Efficiency Analysis of Crop Producing Farms in Uzbekistan: Explanatory Factors and Estimation Techniques” in 2012 and obtained his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Bonn.
