ZEF Junior Researcher Fatima Ali wins award for best oral presentation

ZEF LAND Junior Researcher Fatima Ali participated in the Global Landscape Project (GLP) 5th Open Science Meeting “Pathways to Sustainable and Just Land Systems”, held from November 4 - 8, 2024 in Oaxaca , Mexico. 

She received the award for the best presentation by a PhD student on the theme “imagining the future/s” for her work titled “Participatory Future Scenarios of Okalma Forest Values and Uses”.

Fatima is conducting her PhD research at ZEF on “Participatory Valuation of Forest Ecosystem Services”.
