The Science Days will offer an important opportunity to contribute to the agenda-setting process of the United Nations Food Systems Summit with scientific evidence and perspectives.

The Science Days will be organized as a two half-day (program from 13:00-18:00 CEST each day) virtual event on July 08-09. Plenary and parallel sessions will cover key topics such as:

• Unlocking the potential of science, technology and innovation for the transformation of food systems
• Identifying science-based options to achieve more healthy, sustainable, inclusive resilient food systems
• Fostering linkages between science, people and policy for food system transformation
• Getting to grips with contentious issues related to science, technology and innovations for food systems
• Empowering and engaging key players in food system transformation
• Pushing the frontiers of science for food systems
• Looking ahead to 2030 and beyond: Opportunities, trade-offs, obstacles and synergies.
