One Health Day 2021- Research Symposium" NRW One Health Graduate School

The One Health and Urban Transformation Graduate School cordially invites you to join our celebrations of One Health Day 2021 where our new working areas will be presented in a research symposium.
The symposium is intended to facilitate collaborations for research and practice in Brazil, Germany, Ghana and India in the spheres of food systems, zoonotic diseases, anti-microbial resistance, and One Health implementation. Our researchers will present their work with opportunities for the audience to engage and participate in the different sessions organized.
The event will take place on 3 November between 9:30 - 15:30 hrs (CET) and it will be held in English.
About the Graduate School. Launched in July 2016, the Graduate School “One Health and Urban Transformation – identifying risks, developing sustainable solutions” has studied the various dimensions and transformations of the urban systems and their impacts on human, animal and environmental health, in metropolitan areas in Germany, Ghana, India and Brazil. The second stage of the graduate school started in April 2021, with 13 new doctoral students.
The NRW Forschungskolleg One Health and Urban Transformation is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia (Ministerium für Kultur und Wissenschaft des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, MKW).
