Abstract Based on the epistemological, methodological and theoretical frame of dissident feminisms - particularly the contributions of black feminism, postcolonial feminism and decolonial feminism - as perspectives of departure, the presentation analyses the contributions of a gendered intersectional perspective to discuss women's subordination and resistance in Latin America. With that purpose, it is organized in three different moments: the critique of western modernity as a civilizational paradigm and a project of domination; the concepts of sexual, racial and international division of labour; and the empirical cases of the women the Buckets Revolution, in Brazil, and the female cocoa farmers in Colombia.
