Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates ICAE conference 2024 in New Delhi

The International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) holds its 32nd International Conference of Agricultural Economists (ICAE) in New Delhi, India, August 2-7, 2024. ICAE 2024 is organized by ZEF director Matin Qaim and his team. Qaim is also the incoming President of the International Association of Agricultural Economists.
The overall theme of the conference is “Transformation Towards Sustainable Agri-Food Systems” and its purpose is to discuss approaches how food systems in different parts of the world can be made more healthy for humans and the environment.
The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the conference, underlining the great political interest in the topic. More than 1000 participants from 70 countries joined the conference.
