World Bank Governance Data

The World Bank would like to draw your attention to new initiatives on governance data (featured in a new online inventory of datasets) and assessing and addressing corruption (view the homepage of the
World Bank's external website for the ongoing April highlight on fighting corruption).
The new anti-corruption platform targets, among other things, extortion and bribery. According to World Bank estimates, there were some US trillion in bribes alone in 2003 in developed and developing
countries.
