New DFID White Paper: Eliminating world poverty: making governance work for the poor

 

The UK Department for International Development (DFID) launched its new 2006 White Paper on International Development. The paper sets out what the UK Government will do over the next five years to translate the promises of 2005 to reduce world poverty. Accoring to the paper governance and also the provision of security, incomes and public services for poor people will be at the centre of DFID's work over the next five years

This practitioners' guide aims to bridge the gap between research and practice.
