ASAA Funding for small conferences and workshops

The ASAA provides financial support for small-scale seminars and local conferences on Asia by members of the ASAA. A maximum of 00 per application is available and applications can be made at any time during the year. Initiatives from Postgraduate Students are particularly encouraged. Applicants should write a brief proposal to the President of the ASAA outlining;
• details of the conference/workshop ;
• organisers' names and contact details;
• main theme;
• likely participants;
• host institution/s; and
• justification of budget.
Successful applicants are requested to acknowledge the ASAA in their advertising and provide a brief report within two months of the completion of the conference/workshop.
