Ghanaian students visit ZEF for sharing experiences and expertise

Six doctoral students from the PhD program of the Ghanaian-German Center for Development Research in Accra, Ghana, visited ZEF for a six-week study and research stay.

 

The six students, Daniella Delali Sedaghat, George G. Hallow, Sylvester N. Ayambila, Freda E. Asem, Antoinette C. Tsiboe-Darko and Dela Tsikata are participants of the joint Development Studies program of ZEF and ISSER (Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research), which is part of the DAAD-funded Africa-wide network of "Centres of excellence for promoting future leaders in Africa".

 

During their stay at ZEF the students had the chance to present and discuss their research proposals in a workshop with senior researchers from ZEF and the German Institute for Development (DIE). Furthermore, they had the opportunity to have interdisciplinary talks and to share experiences.
