DESCRIPTION:As modern research ethics enters its social justice era\, rese
 archers are faced with a proliferation of ethical considerations to negoti
 ate. I suggest a simple framework focusing on research participant empower
 ment\, accessibility\, safety\, and inclusivity (EASI) as a means for navi
 gating between and across epistemologies\, disciplines\, and methods. I di
 scuss practical implications as well as potential barriers to its implemen
 tation. I invite participants to reflect on their own research experiences
  as part of a broader dialogue on the future of social science research wi
 thin the Global South.
