Lisa Biber-Freudenberger is an interdisciplinary human–environment systems researcher with a doctorate in Biodiversity Research from the University of Potsdam, Germany.
She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in International Nature Conservation.
Since 2020, she has been a Junior Professor and leads the research group Biodiversity and Sustainable Land Use (LAND) at the Center for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn, where her work focuses on the complex interactions between human development, land use, biodiversity, and sustainable transformation processes.
