Maureen Nabatanzi

Maureen holds a Master's of Public Health Nutrition and a post-graduate certificate in Field Epidemiology Training from Makerere University, Uganda. She worked as an Epidemiologist for the Ministry of Health and the Infectious Diseases Institute in Uganda and actively participated in surveillance and response to disease outbreaks. Maureen is interested in generating evidence for robust public health interventions. Her doctoral research will model the distribution of arboviruses under land use, biodiversity, and climate changes in Uganda in order to inform outbreak prevention interventions.
