Grace Wothaya Kihagi is a trained and practicing clinical nutritionist and dietitian. She holds both a Master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics from Kenyatta University, Kenya. Since April 2024, she has been a junior researcher at ZEF at the University of Bonn. She is involved in the ALIMUS Trial Implementation for households with young children in sub-Saharan countries. Her research focuses on the effects of home gardening and nutrition counseling on climate-sensitive nutrients and undernutrition. Additionally, she contributes to the co-design of behavior-change strategies for adolescent health under the CHANGE MAKER project. Grace has extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative research and implementation science. She is also skilled in stakeholder engagement, knowledge transfer, and mentoring.
