Rhodah Nekesa completed her masters in Food Safety and Quality at the University of Nairobi Kenya and a masters in Food Security and Community Nutrition at Gulu University Uganda in 2023 and joined BIGS-DR, Center for Development Research (ZEF) for a PhD in Food and Nutritional Sciences in 2024. Rhodah Nekasa’s research interest are centered on adolescent and child health and nutrition, community nutrition and food security. Rhodah Nekasa’s PhD research is embedded in CHANGEMAKER project that is using sustainable health approaches to improve adolescents’ wellbeing through health and nutrition interventions in the emerging urban settlements in Dar es Salam Tanzania, Kisumu, Kenya and Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
