Yufan Wang holds a Master’s degree in Management from China Agricultural University. She has been involved in research projects including “Nutrition-oriented Food Supply and Consumption Equilibrium” and “Study on Food Supply and Demand Balance from a Big Food Perspective,” which focus on food supply, consumption, and nutrition-related challenges in rural China. She is currently a Doctoral Researcher at the Center for Development Research (ZEF), within the Economic and Technological Change (ZEF ECON) group. Her doctoral research draws on micro-level household production and food consumption data from rural China and focuses on food consumption and nutritional health. Her research topics include food consumption and nutritional health, sustainable food systems, malnutrition and poverty, and consumer preferences.
