Dr. Jochen Dürr studied Agricultural Economics at the University of Hohenheim. He obtained his PhD in Economics in 2015 from the Faculty of Organic Agricultural Sciences of the University of Kassel-Witzenhausen. He started his career working for the German Development Service in Latin America, mainly on value chains of smallholder products. He has been a Senior Researcher at the Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn since 2016, where he coordinates food security research and capacity development projects in Ethiopia, Madagascar, and Myanmar. Currently, he conducts applied research on bioeconomy issues in Argentina and Brazil. Currently, he conducts applied research on bioeconomy issues in Argentina and Brazil. See: SABio project
