Lukas Kurniawan is a public health nutritionist by training. He has over five years of experience using data-driven insights to improve population health outcomes and drive evidence-based policies. He holds a BSc in Human Nutrition and an MSc in Molecular and Clinical Nutrition. He is also currently a section editor in BMC Journal of Health, Population, and Nutrition. At ZEF HEALTH, Lukas is involved in the following projects: 1. ARISE – NUTRINT: reducing nutrition-related noncommunicable diseases in adolescence and youth: interventions and policies to boost nutrition fluency and diet quality in Africa. 2. ALIMUS study: investigating the effect of home gardening and nutrition counselling on climate-sensitive nutrients, undernutrition, and malaria among children under-fives in Kenya and Burkina Faso. 3. IPTi follow-up study: multi-center, prospective cohort study in Ghana on early-life exposure to malaria and nutrition-related non-communicable diseases in adult life
