Dr. Stephen Amoah has been a Senior Researcher at the Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn since October 2024. He specializes in migration and health, diabetes prevention, and qualitative and mixed-methods research in global health. His work focuses on non-communicable diseases among African populations in Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. He leads and contributes to international research projects, including OPTIMA, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to translate research findings into policy and community-based interventions. Dr. Amoah has extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative data collection, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring, and is actively involved in interdisciplinary research linking Global health, migration, and development studies.
