Dr. Beuchelt is a project leader, holding a PhD in Agricultural Sciences, specialized in Rural Development Theory & Policy. With over 20 years of research experience in Sustainability Science, she focuses on socio-ecological transformations and justice. Dr. Beuchelt is an inter- and transdisciplinary researcher, combining qualitative and quantitative methods, and has led large-scale international research collaborations across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Europe. She has a strong record of scientific publications, external funding acquisition, and academic mentorship, including teaching and PhD supervision. She is actively involved in academic networks and advisory boards. Among her key achievements is the development of the Food Security Standard, a collaborative initiative with the private sector and civil society, that integrates the Right to Food in global supply chains.
