My contribution to the global disaster studies include: disaster governance and complex network theory application in disaster field. My PhD has been one of the first systematic studies on disaster governance, looking at institutions and governance practice in disaster reduction in >60 countries around the world. [See my PhD Thesis] This allowed me to master in the following field: disaster policy analysis, risk governance, institutional and governance dimension of disaster mitigation and management.
