She conducted research on science and technology policies to promote commercialization of basic science technologies based on cooperation between government, firm and university at the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade (KIET: Seoul, Korea), on the competitiveness and development of Information, Telecommunication and Electronic Industries of Korea at the local level at the Institute of Industrial Policy Studies (IPS: Seoul, Korea), and on socio-economic aspects of water management in African countries at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO: Vienna, Austria).
