Isaac Ansah
Mr. Isaac Gershon Kodwo Ansah is a lecturer and an examination officer at the School of Applied Economics and Management Sciences. He assists Dr. Michael Ayamga at WAC-SRT as the coordinator for DIGI-FACE related issues. In June 2021, he defends his PhD at Wageningen University and Research in the Netherlands, where he also obtained his master’s degree in Management, Economics and Consumer Studies. Prior to his master’s study, he has taught in secondary school and also worked with research institutions after his bachelor’s degree at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. As an agricultural and applied economist with quantitative economic background, he works in diverse fields that concern production and distribution of income from both micro- and macroeconomic perspectives. Currently, his research focuses on smallholder food systems and food security, including shocks and resilience. With knowledge and practice in multivariate analyses, he combines mainstream econometrics with multivariate techniques and qualitative analysis to analyse distribution of income and other resources along food and crop value chains.
