Dr. Edilegnaw Wale is a post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Bonn, Center for Development Research. He participated in the International Doctoral Studies Program, where he did his doctoral thesis on the economics of on-farm conservation of crop diversities in Ethiopia. His PhD studied was financially supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ, http://www.bmz.de/en/index.html) via DAAD and GTZ.
He stayed in Germany from 2000-2004. Last March his thesis was selected as the best paper from 2003 and 2004 graduates of the university by the Center of Development Research and won the prize by the center.
