ZEF alumna Farhat Naz appointed Young DAAD Ambassador for social sciences

ZEF alumna Farhat Naz from India was appointed Young DAAD Ambassador for social sciences, to promote research and higher studies in Germany at a ceremony held at the German High Commission in New Delhi, India.
Mr. Cord Meiser-Klodt, Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) and Head of the Department for Economic and Global Affairs, German Embassy, New Delhi, India, and Ms Christiane Schlottmannn, Director of the DAAD Regional Office, attended the ceremony (see photograph).

Farhat Naz studied at ZEF and obtained her doctoral degree from the Faculty of Arts, Bonn University, in 2011. Dr. Naz is a Special Project Scientist (in Social Sciences) at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), New Delhi Office, now.
