Watching the world’s water from above: Scientists developed a Digital Atlas of the Earth’s Water System

A small group of scientists, belonging to the Global Water System Project (GWSP), located at ZEF, did an amazing job by developing a global Digital Water Atlas. The scientists are based at the International Project Office of the Project, an initative funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). GWSP's activities include mapping and assessing the current and past of the Global Water System.
