Selection and Admission

At ZEF, we select the most promising candidates through a rigorous admissions process: After reviewing applications, selected candidates participate in online interviews where we assess their research potential, communication skills, and thematic alignment with our expertise. Final selection is based on interview performance, the quality of the research concept, and alignment with our ZEF-Professor's profiles, who serve as main supervisors. The review of DAAD EPOS applications is usually completed in October. The final decision is being announced by DAAD in December. The course program starts in the following year in October.
