DAAD Annual Network Meeting in Cape Town

From January 26-30, 2011, the South African - German Centre for Development Research and Criminal Justice hosted the network meeting of the DAAD centres of excellence.

On January 27, 2011, the opening ceremony of the meeting took place on the University of the Western Cape (UWC) campus. The Ghanaian-German Center for Development Research was represented by Professor Dr. Solvay Gerke, Director of the Department of Political and Cultural Change at the Center for Development Research (ZEF), Dr. Adobea Owusu, Phd program co-coordinator at the Insititute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER) and Dr. Felix Asante, Head of Economic Division at ISSER. The main speaker was the Minister of Science and Technology, Mrs. Naledi Grace Mandisa Pandor.
