ZEF Alumnus Dr. Yasobant Sandul has been appointed Assitant Professor with the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar

ZEF Alumnus Dr. Yasobant Sandul has been appointed Assitant Professor with the Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) where he has been working as a Technical Officer since 2021. He also received this year's Bonn SDG Fellowship by the University of Bonn.

Furthermore, he is co-leading the Centre of One Health Education, Research & Development (COEHRD), a joint initiative by the University of Bonn and IIPHG, India.

Yasobant has completed the Doctoral Program ‘One Health & Urban Transformation’ at ZEF and successfully defended his doctoral thesis on "Operationalization of multi-sectoral collaboration in One Health: A health system study in Ahmedabad, India" in 2020. He obtained his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bonn.

In July 2022 Yasobant visited ZEF to hold a public lecture on "Multi-sectoral collaborations for routine health services during COVID19 pandemic in Ahmedabad, India: Preliminary findings from CoV Intersect project". You can watch it here.
