Research title: Modeling the Suitability of Profitable Diversified Maize Production in Africa Under Different Socio-Economic and Climatic Conditions
Roman completed his Bachelor (B.S.S) and Masters (M.S.S) in Economics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Having a high interest in the field of sustainable development, he started his second master’s at the University of Bonn in Food and Agricultural Economics (AFECO) focusing on Environmental Economics and Agricultural policy. He has a high interest in the field of adaptation of agricultural methods, livestock, forestry, and crops to the ongoing human-induced climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions for sustainable development and biodiversity in developing countries. Before joining LANUSYNCON, he was a faculty member (Assistant Professor) at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh. Now, he is writing his master’s thesis on ‘Modeling the Suitability of Profitable Diversified Maize Production in Africa Under Different Socio-Economic and Climatic Conditions'.
