Backgorund:

The One Health approach has gained international attention through the epidemic disease outbreaks of recent years, Ebola, Zika and most recently Sars-CoV-2. However, zoonotic diseases are not the only health problems that can be addressed by the holistic One Health approach. Dr. Timo Falkenberg from the Center for Development Research (ZEF) will present the One Health concept of the NRW Research College "One Health and Urban Transformation" and will talk about its broad application.
