ZEF co-organizes workshop on Science, Technology and Society in Brunei

Around 200 participants attended the international workshop on "Science, Technology and Society" co-organized by ZEF and the University of Brunei Darussalam, taking place in Brunei from September 23-25, 2011.
Among the participants, most of whom were academics, were the Vice Chancellor of the University of Brunei, Dr. Zul, and on ZEF side Prof. Hans-Dieter Evers, Prof. Solvay Gerke, Dr. Anna Hornidge, Famli Nordin, and Farah Purwaningrum.
During the workshop three main themes were discussed: Science and technology policy; Knowledge governance and innovation diffusion and Science, technology and education.
The workshop was well-covered by the media in Brunei.
