ZEF junior researcher appointed DAAD Research Ambassador for Bhutan

September 2014. Sonam Tashi, a ZEF junior researcher from Bhutan, was nominated by the Regional Office New Delhi of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as a Research Ambassador for his country. DAAD Research Ambassadors are partners in pursuit of excellence by being a reliable and trustworthy source of information on education and research. They are the first point of contact for academic cooperation and projects, planning visits of high-level delegations from Germany as well as role-models for the next generation of students and scholars. DAAD Research Ambassador is an honorary position with a three-year tenure. In his new capacity as a DAAD Ambassador, Sonam Tashi has been invited to attend an orientation workshop for Research Ambassadors scheduled for November 14-16, 2014 in New Delhi.
