ZEF Distinguished Fellow Oded Stark again among the five top Economics Professors in the (September 2013) Handelsblatt ranking

We congratulate Professor Oded Stark, Distinguished Fellow of ZEF, on once again having been ranked among the top five Economics Professors in the German-speaking world and of German origin anywhere in the world. The new Handelsblatt ranking, which lists the top 317 Economics Professors in a field of about 3,000 Economics Professors, is based on publications in academic journals.

The ranking has been compiled since 2006 with the support of “Konjunkturforschungsstelle” (KOF), ETH Zürich. This placement of Professor Stark amongst the top five is for the seventh year in a row and is one of several recent honors and distinctions of Professor Stark, the latest being the award of Doctor honoris causa conferred upon him by the University of Warsaw in March 2013.
