Who pays the bill? New ZEF policy brief on the economic loss of land degradation in Eastern Africa.

ZEF-researchers Oliver Kirui and Alisher Mirzabaev give an overview of the state of affairs regarding land degradation in the region, its causes as well as its effects in case of inaction. This refers especially to the local people, whose livelihoods depend to a large extent on their soils.
