First UNESCO World Report: “Towards Knowledge Societies”

The rise of “knowledge societies” is the subject of the UNESCO World Report to be launched by Director-General Koïchiro Matsuura at a press conference at Organization Headquarters on November 3 in the presence of Boutros Boutros-Ghali, former Secretary-General of the United Nations and former Secretary-General of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie.
