ZEF junior researcher Dima Al Munajed awarded this year's DAAD Prize

ZEF junior researcher Dima Al Munajed from Syria (in the picture) was awarded this year's Prize of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Ms. Al Munajed received the DAAD Prize on the occasion of the opening of the Academic Year 2020/2021 on October 19, 2020 at the University of Bonn, to which she had been invited by the University's Rector Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c.Michael Hoch.
The Prize was presented by Vice President for International Affairs of Bonn University Prof. Dr. Stephan Conermann.
Ms. Al Munajed receives the DAAD Prize for her voluntary work as managing director of the non-profit initiative Massyr which supports Syrian artists affected by conflict through the project SAFIR (www.safirart.org), for establishing the intercultural "Dinner Club Bonn" with her ZEF colleague Juliana Minetto Gellert Paris, and for organizing digital workshops for her fellow students at the Center for Development Research at the University of Bonn (ZEF).
