Pakistani collaboration partners pay a work visit to ZEF
November 2013. ZEF’s collaboration partners from Pakistan visited the research center in November 2013. They are all working in the project “Improving Irrigation Water Use in the Punjab Province of Pakistan by Raising Flexibility and Integrating Surface and Groundwater Resources” which is part of the German-Pakistani Research Collaboration Program, initiated and funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Delegation members
The members of the delegation from Pakistan were: Professor Rai Niaz Ahmad, Vice Chancellor of the Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi; Mr. Habib Ullah Bodla, Chief Engineer PMIU-Punjab Irrigation Department; Dr. Abdul Nasir Awan, Chariman of the Department of Structures and Environmental Engineering, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad; Dr. Usman Khalid Awan (Researcher at IWMI Lahore-Water Resouces Management and Hydrology and ZEF alumnus).
