MaMo Panel report "Nourished" - Discussion in Bonn

Discussion on why some African countries have been successful in their battle against malnutrition whilst others are still lagging behind. Several African countries, including Senegal, Ghana, and Ethiopia, have shown substantial success in reducing malnutrition over the last 15 years.

This progress, driven largely by policy actions and interventions, shows that the battle against malnutrition in Africa can be won, according to the report “Nourished” by the Malabo Montpellier Panel. The German version “Ernährt” was launched at the event on March 22. Speakers: Dr. Ousmane Badiane, Africa Director at the International Food and Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in Washington D.C., Prof. Joachim von Braun, ZEF-Director, and Dr. Stefan Schmitz, Deputy Director General of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
