Co-funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), ZEF cooperates with the University of Addis Ababa to develop and implement the first PhD Programme for Environmental Planning in Ethiopia. The interdisciplinary and applied programme aims to improve the academic capacities in Ethiopia in the field of environmental planning with a focus on biodiversity. This will help to promote more sustainable utilization and conservation of natural resources in the country.
