Prof. Richard Rottenburg is Chair of Anthropology at the Martin-Luther University, Halle, and a Max Planck Fellow. Among many publications his latest publication “Far-Fetched Facts. A Parable of Development Aid” is one of the key publications in the field of development studies of the last decade (http://mitpress.mit.edu/catalog/item/default.asp?ttype=2&tid=11747).
