Global Fair: Celebrating cooperation with partners from Ghana and Brazil

Research and teaching collaborations with partners in countries in the so-called Global South are a fundamental component of the University of Bonn's internationalization strategy. As part of the Excellence Strategy, several internal university funding lines were set up in the relevant regions to support the establishment or further development of relevant collaborations at all career levels.

On October 20th, the Vice-Rectorate for International Affairs invites everyone interested to an international trade fair where various cooperation projects with a Global South connection as well as funding opportunities for researchers and students will be presented. In addition to Ghana as a strategic focus country, where the University of Bonn maintains a strategic partnership with the University of Ghana, among others, there will also be a special focus on Brazil, where the university also maintains successful partnerships with several universities.

At the Global Fair you will learn everything about the University of Bonn's existing collaborations in Ghana, Brazil and other countries of the “Global South” as well as the special opportunities and challenges of North-South cooperation. Get to know guests from Ghana, Brazil and all over the world, make new contacts and meet old acquaintances.
