Conference: Transdisziplinäre Nachhaltigkeitsforschung und Entwicklungszusammenarbeit
February 25, 2014 | 10:00 h - 16:30 h
On Tuesday, February 25, 2014, ZEF co-organizes a one-day conference featuring transdisciplinary research on sustainability and development.
The main focus is on the transdisciplinary sustainability research, which aims at addressing society-based challenges. In transdisciplinary reseach, cooperating closely with communities and stakeholders and integrating their knowledge is essential.
The conference also offers an opportunity for strengthening synergies between science and policy makers: another bridge that transdisciplinary research is striving to build.
Core conference themes are poverty, nutrition, health and energy and how science can contribute to addressing these challenges.
The conference is co-organized with die Deutsche UNESCO Kommission and Brot für die Welt.
The conference is in German language. See program below. Participation by registration only.
