Water Lecture: "The Effects of Formal and Informal Mega-Urban Development Processes on Water Resources"
June 30, 2010 | 17:30 h - 19:00 h
This Water Lecture will be held by three researchers:
Dr. Klaus Baier, Ramona Strohschön and Dr. Tomas M. Fernandez-Steeger
All of them are working at the Department for Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology, RWTH Aachen University, on the project "Analysis of informal dynamics in mega urban areas based on spatial structure and steering mechanisms focused on water in the Pearl River Delta". For more information on the project have a look at http://www.megaurban-water.org/index_en.php.
The Water Lecture series is a joint series organized by the Center for Development Research (ZEF), the UN-Water Decade Programme on Capacity Development (UNW-DPC), the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS), and the Global Water System Project (GWSP).
