Franziska Hollmann, Director Agribusiness, DEG (Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft)

Michael Brüntrup, Agricultural Economist, German Development Institute

Waltina Scheumann, Department Environmental Policy and Management of Natural Resources, German Development Institute

Moderator: Wolfram Laube, Senior Researcher at the Center for Development Research (ZEF)

Venue: Conference room, ground floor, Center for Development Research / Zentrum für Entwicklungsforschung (ZEF), Walter-Flex-Straße 3, 53113 Bonn (Directions)

Date: Wednesday, November 21, 17:30 - 19:00 h

The Water Lecture will open with a presentation of the study "Large-scale land acquisitions and water rights" by Waltina Scheumann.

Franziska Hollmann and Michael Brüntrup then discuss opportunities and challenges for the regulation of international investments in agriculture.
