New Publication: "Resilience of People and Ecosystems under Climate Stress"

The new book ”Resilience of People and Ecosystems under Climate Stress” with a statement by Pope Francis, edited by Veerabhadran Ramanathan and Joachim von Braun is now published.

The main messages are:

• Human-nature interactions must be viewed through a triplet of interlinked crises: Climate, Biodiversity, and Inequality.
• It is too late to rely just on mitigation. A global effort to build climate resilience is needed.
• Resilience building must rest on three pillars: Mitigation, Adaptation & Transformation.
